Ditte Jakobsen
grab my hair
and touch my skin
breathe my air
and let me in
whisper softly in my ear
that I have nothing left to fear
cause time has left
and so has place
just you and me
floating through space

I'm scared that if I let you
into my heart, you'll leave
behind footprints that my
tears can't wash away.

Rain drops fall from the clouds
Eye lids fall to sleep
And I
For you
For Julio: blood of my blood
I gather our memories and tie in it bundles
praying that the harvest
will last me through the winter
maybe this season
I won't be starved
of you
Do you always speak in poetry?
...
Steamy breath swirls in the
Stagnant air, my hair hangs
Dusty smudges itching
Under paper skin
...
No, I breathed
...
Eyes shut, eyes open
The words dance, I hear their
Ethereal whispers, muffled
By masks and heavy cloaks
...
I miss you.
I miss you poetry, it's been a long time since I've actively been writing and something a friend said to me really sparked a flame in me again.

My love doth weep,
When it stretches across the oceans
Fatigues and swims too deep,
And falls to steep hatred.

My love doth weep,
When she realises that only
One half of the heart is complete
And the sweet fruits have fallen.

My love doth weep,
Somewhere in the Sahel
Water is scarce for moving on,
And all the oases have dried and gone.
