Do not stand at my grave and weep,

I am not there; I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow,

I am the diamond glints on snow,

I am the sun on ripened grain,

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning’s hush

I am the swift uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circling flight.

I am the soft starlight at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry,

I am not there; I did not die.
This is the poem by Mary Elizabeth Frye, who died 10 years ago. It is written in 1932. I really like this poem,so I wanted to share it with you.

Alice,take a smile
Sofia Aug 2014
When fires flame,
you always have me to blame.
Icebergs would melt
if they could feel what you felt.

Look at all the mess
you have made;
it won't fade,Alice,
it won't fade.

Even the world in wars
is able to see night with the stars.

You're so childish,Alice.
All those dandies
have no candies.

Don't be annoying,
don't go deep.
It's my secret,
now go to sleep.

Fear
Sofia Aug 2014
Do you want
to forget the past?
do you want me
to be your last?

Are you afraid of
crossing borders?
Can you put your hands
on my shoulders?

I will take you
to my world soon
and you will see
secrets of full moon,
of full moon
and mysterious rain,
that will erase
all your pain.

Just for you
I am bleeding
and with your heart
myself I'm feeding.

You can't stay
with me any longer
'cause I'm the beast
who's becoming stronger.

But you know
I need you to survive,
so it's your decision
would you say "goodbye".
