When you chose to settle for half a man or half anyone at all... What, you end-up-with is nothing but, a good reason for you to fall. Why! I remember.... it was a beautiful warm sunshiny day, the flowers were in bloom... It was early May. I saw you standing in a blue tight fitting dress and all I could think of... Was how much you had been blessed. Your skin as smooth as silk and the color of golden honey, your eyes dark as night... yet brighter than the sun and a body that; would make Venus blush. I remember... standing there, and watching you walk away.... The flowers were in bloom , it was early may... and I was in love! Though, I never got to say. The fact.... that you don't have a clue, really isn't anything new. You being like everyone else... note to myself --and it was fair, yo! You're not rare. I was thinking, as I sat here. Vanilla cream scent filling the room, rain drops sweetly kissing my window... Butterfly kisses--it's like strange but that's, how I see the rain. Soft music flowing in the back-ground; Sade... Makes me want to get down. Bring-out... the **** me, or maybe this is how it's suppose to be. I was thinking, Like the moon I rise for you; You set me like the sun, in the middle of Spring-time--- tender breezes easy... I unwind. Like a gazelle... Graceful, Wild, ****, Fast, and Free; Hot-as- Fire... turned-on, Yeah! That's we. Moving in and out of time, gentle- touches sweet as wine...or honey smooth as butter are your lips, rose pedals blossoms as you sway your hips. I was thinking about the taste of the nectar beneath your waist; hidden wild flowers calling out for April showers. Gently- Kissing the mouth of your gate, tongue moving slowly as passion escapes. Moans of pleasure,  waves of ecstasy, an you shower me with your rain; something not like the rain... on my window pane. I was thinking, Black-Rose standing strong , hard as the wind on a winter's night... I enter your garden now wet with rain, riding waves of passion-- you... screaming my name; as one we explode. She sat there with no-expression, Never moved, Never shed a tear, Never laughed; Never said a word. He came and across from her he sat; She smiled and all... She could not say, seemed somehow to flow his way. She sat there and without a word, Her heart, Her dreams, Her needs, Were all that he heard. Mostly standing still- not moving at all. No, direction, No for-thought, No thoughts of the here-after. Down but not out, Through but not over, Perplexed but not consumed, Empty... Motionless but still here. Someone said as long as you're breathing, there's still hope. You still have a chance... to change, to grow, to live, to love, to experience something new in life; to be. Yeah! You still have a chance to be. Mostly standing still- not moving at all... was how I use to be. Now, I move freely... Honoring my creator for giving me the right... to be.  The Right To Be!

Empty in a crowed room, Lonely though I'm not alone. Running fast while standing still... This is sometimes the way that I feel. Up, When I should be down, Smiling though I really want to frown, Intoxicated after making love; Sad for-no-reason... just because: Wondering is this life real. This is sometimes the way that I feel. Wanting but not having a need, Striving but just can't succeed; Needing a touch... A hug from a friend, Standing still alone once again: Dead but yet I live. This is sometimes the way that I feel. Loving but getting nothing in return, Standing on ice... Yet! Deep is the burn. Reaching-out, though no-one's there, Giving to those who don't really care, Wondering are they for-real... This is sometimes the way that I feel. Happy when I should be sad, At peace... When the world's gone mad; Laughing... Needing to heal. This is sometimes the way that I feel. This is sometimes the way that I feel,  This is sometimes the way that I feel.

In order to truly enjoy the company of someone else, We must learn to enjoy our own company. Before, we can truly love anyone else, We must learn to truly love ourselves. Two halves in a relationship or friendship, does not make it whole: it takes two whole people to make a whole friendship or relationship. Stop, Looking for someone else to make you whole or even complete you, and look to God for He's the only one who can. Learn to be the kind of friend that, you would like to have. Sow good seeds like: Compassion, Understanding, Love-Without- Conditions, Trust, Respect, Kindness, Peace, Hope, Tenderness, Truth, Honesty, Forgiveness, Help-Just-Because, Joy, Long-suffering, Grace, Mercy, and Laughter: and watch as the seeds are watered with grace and with love. They, will produce after their own kind. Long-Story- Short,  Whatever, kind of seeds that you sow... Be they good or bad, those are the ones or kind that, You are going to reap; so why-not, sow good seeds and reap that-which is good. Yeah! You Reap What You Sow!!

Sometimes I wonder why loving someone has to be  so hard, then I realize that; it's only as hard as we make it. Loving is the easy part, it's trust or trusting that's hard; especially when you've been hurt by trusting before. Sometime I wonder.

Yeah! I cheated myself-I understand all to well what you mean... Miss Winehouse but I can't say that I'm no-good quite the opposed. I give them life, love, with all my strength . They took it all and charged me rent. I prayed, for them, gave heart- and-soul; they laugh at me and left me in the cold. I cheated myself in every way, it's a fools game -that I wanted to play. Thought that I could change you, somehow make you mine, you put me through hell... How I wish I could rewind. Yeah! I would change the story, rewrite every line. From the first day that I saw you, right up to this moment in time. I would not have given my number along with my self respect, I would have let you know... I'm not one to neglect. I would have left... Yeah! The first 'time that you cheated and not just stay, to have you causally repeated it. I would have run the first time... You put your hands on me, not just stay and have you beat me randomly. I would have left you... That night you and your friends came- into my room and had me over-and -over again. The things you did to me... The things you made me do-I cheated myself; I was a fool in love with you. Yeah! I would have even changed the night, the last night I had with you. This one for which I am not ashamed, for doing what I had to do. It was right after you beat me and tore off my brand new dress, eyes closed, nose broke, lip swollen, ribs cracked... I was a horrible mess. You didn't stop there though- oh- no that, was not enough. You violated me and you made it ruff. When, you were done and I lie there bleeding on the floor, I asked you why and you said... Because you are my *****.You started laughing.. and said "now get ya *** up off the floor". I got up and with all that I had, I started to fight like a woman gone MADD. They say that I stabbed you.. Can't remember when I got that knife... They gave me 32 years for taking your so called life. I cheated myself. Yeah! It was all me. Loving a fool has cost me.. My-free! Yeah! I cheated myself.
