Waterfalls
Skies blue when there's no rain.
Like a rainbow after the pain
That comes every time I hear your name.
I remember the first time you said that
It would be the last time
That you hit me
Made me see stars
I get it
Men are from Venus
Women from Mars
Acid rain
Coming from the sky
I'm a man
I refuse to lie down and die
Who could I tell
Who can I run to
The things you do to me
Did someone do to you
I go to work
I rush right home
I run your bath
Put your dinner on
I meet you at the door
Drink in hand...
Just the way you like me; wearing nothing but skin
I bow to you
My Queen
On your knees
I make ready for your mean
A kick to the face, heels dig deep into my side...
I'm going to take a bath; burn my dinner
I'll tan your hide
Eyes... black,
Blood running from my nose
You're all I know
This is how our story goes
In bed you take me, over-and-over
Sometimes I feel like
I'm your woman
You're my man
I want to be stronger,
I want to be free...
More than that
I long just to be...
Loved--by you
For the rest of my life
That's why I married you
Made you my wife
I can't keep hiding,
What you do to me
Who can I tell
Who would believe me
This secret, I will keep
Until death do us part
I remember waterfalls...
Natures work of art.
I remember
Waterfalls...
