A distant memory
Overshadowed by fear and agony

Like a once upon a time
In a tragic fairytale

The city of lights
That reminded me of you
Now reminded me of freedom

Oh baby, I don't need you

I am
my own
*happiness
that last kiss
that last text
that last look
I don't know
where to go
but right now
all I know is
you were wrong
this is right
save your words
save the fight
I'll leave it be
as for now
I'll close my eyes
and say goodnight.

you led me out of denial.

If you ask me
To come and see
To part the space
Between my knees

If you dare
Touch my hair
With rotten lust
In your eyes gleam

How can i ever
See you the same
When you'd use me
Without even my name

Sick little boy
I need a friend
Dont make this
Into our end
He helped drag me
up from the pit of despair
as no other would
How much loyalty
does that warrant?
His unhappiness
chips away at my armor
I hate his unhappiness
and my uselessness
I yearn for happiness
and contentment
But, his sorrow
erodes it
leaving frustration
and anger in its wake
as I sit and wonder
how long does it
take for love
to die?

useless am I
in the face of his sorrow
his anger
his pain
Yours is the touch of an angel
Such virtue within you flows
Like a pure mountain stream
You quench my thirsty soul
You’re my source of kindness
You bring me to my knees
I pray your dreams all come true
And your spirit remains free
Thank you for being so kind!!
Lost in the shadows
Are the building blocks
Of the dark poets

Pre-operational
Innocence
Trying to fit in
But the dysfunctions
Left wounds
And walls within

The ignorance of societies
Left its mark
Condemning
Then branding
The misguided heart

Subconscious reaction
Ideologies that captivate
And disturb the measure
Of normal
Thus
The Dark Poet
Was born...
Our hopes for you may fall short
Of the dangers of life’s desires
And although you may not see it now
This world is a consuming fire

Yet we will always have room for you
In our hearts and in our home
A place for you to stop and rest
From the long and weary road
