Doshi
The radiator screams
intrudes a good night's sleep
and derails my dream
the only place these days
I feel peace

I’m left to stare at the ceiling
envying all the rest
my upstairs neighbors are getting
I wonder, what are they dreaming
as the heat ensconces me
and I turn to my side
waiting apprehensively
for the next shriek
Sepia sown as best it can
Where you and I, as one, once ran
Across, beyond a savoured sea
Where lust became reality.
Where spiraled lust, intwined, entrenched
Left you gasping, pale, enbenched...
a figment of a thought, now lost
Forever..at what cost, what cost?

Traveler
Dear New Poets
asking advice on writing poetry.

You already know how!
Remember your first nursery rhymes,
that was the creative seed planted by the universe, water it and grow!
Most of all..
Please yourself and others will find you pleasing!!!
Traveler 🧳 Tin
cheap cigars
they’ll smoke you
as they stroke you
then idle as a car

Men are
vultures
flying overhead
swirling as a blizzard
in your satin bed
till you bled
as a ******
newlywed

Men are
storm clouds
raining on your parade
blowing out your light
leaving you shade

Men are
Venus Fly Traps
the closer you stand
they snap
trapped in
soft hair
and cherry grin
they have you pinned

Men are
rivers
travelers carried away
and running
emptying out themselves
like broken plumbing
Lightness of her tender touch
Whose saffron hues, intone, so much,
Intoned as if by Master’s brush
To apple, peach and rose-like blush
Applied to heighten spangled lust
In each as coalescence ….flushed.
