in the mood for rhyme
hands smell of thyme
and thought is a mime
I'm searching for a chime
this love is playtime

Girls are pretty.
Cigarettes are pretty.
Guts are pretty too.

I don’t think they are pretty in the same way.

Girls are beautiful.
Cigarettes are soothing.
Guts are visceral.

All of them are pretty,
Just like me.
Wrote half of this yesterday and half today, so it might not be as coherent as I'd like it to be. Enjoy! -RH

My dreams are my minds release,
nightmares are my cage,
I am usually locked up.

Time does not gently speak:
it shouts and commands
its voice I heed not
from it I make no demands

Don't bring me
any flower
too soon
it will wither-

only this
you need remember
bring me your heart
this love shall last forever -

I'm poor
but a scholar
for you I'll write
the sweetest love-letter-

your charm
glows brighter
as I lie down
in my gentle slumber

Heartbreak changes sight.
The whole world loses color.
Shades of black and white.
i'm not her
i'm not good
i'm not perfect
i'm not his
i'm not a good person
i'm not happy
i'm not stable
i'm not anything

I was born to love,
But love never stayed.
I was born to care,
But my care decayed.

I wanted arms,
I wanted a name —
But silence answered,
And I took the blame.

Now on my deathbed,
the truth won't hide:
I lived unloved,
And unloved, I die.
