Where do we come from? Where are we going to? طَرِيقً
What sense is there in our life? We never have a clue. الحَيَـاةً مَعْـنًى
How many blameless souls under the wheel azure نُفُـوسٌ أَطْهَارٌ
Are being burn’d to ash and dust – where is the smoke, I ask? دُخَانٌ
۲
Thou shall not plant the trees of grief... شَخَرَة حُرْن
Though for enlightenment search the sun: إِنجِلاَءٌ
Shall care thou of lovely and love wine! رِعَايَةٌ
For time we live’s unequal to divine. وَقْتٌ
۳
I came into this world – has it become more splendid? مُوسِر
I’m gone – will it be hurt so badly? خَسَارَة
I wish somebody told me why سِرّْ
I came from dust and dust become will I. هَـبَاء
۴
I drink not wine for cheer, I drink not wine for vice, عِلَّةًُ
Nor drink I to deny all that is bright and holy. سَبِب
I just want to forget myself if only for a while – نُكْرَانُ اَْلدَّاتِ
That’s why I drink all time – the price I pay is solid! خَزَاءٌ
٥
Neglect the Law, the Prayer and the Lent, رَفضٌ
Though feed the poor with what you have, instead: رَحْمَة
Be good... Then your reward will be – I vouch for it – عَهْدٌ
Now mortal bliss, then – immortality. حَظّْ وَ خُلُود

I am not him
I am not the reason you wake up and I am not eligible to feel
I am not your world and I am not your baby's breath
I am not him
I came into what is to be called ???

A weapon of your desire and a torn up wet nap

Night
morseismyjam Jun 2019
The kitchen table, dimly lit, at which
Sit I, with book propp’d up upon the edge,
And in my hand, a mug bedeck’d with owls,
To the brim fill’d with sweet cinnamon chai.
The room as warm as summer, walls protect.
And I look out at the surrounding black
Becoming lost deep in the rain and wind
Which whirls without, just like a dancer wild
Would swirl a ribbon round and round their head.
But i sit in my isle of warmth and light.
While they are locked outside, in  fath’mless dark.
another poem from highschool. We were studying iambic pentamiter.
Oh How I loveth thee
A quite quaint angel in my own eyes.
With dark and white broken wings.
Und'r ****** falls.

I shall waiteth, and comf'rt thee.
Liekth thee loveth thy beareth.
Until the endeth of p'riod.
A hoarse voice with angelic tone.
Haer like the colours of my chameleon.

The tend tender lips of loveth.
A smileth and mind of ambivalence.
I shall loveth with nay judgment.
A halo as bright as the mistress
Possesseth in humans death's-head.

The lukewarm blue chopt lips.
The sleep chamber the lady did lie upon.
H'r ilness, but I accepteth death.
I can kisseth with green valor breath.
The strength of a giant.
The nimbleness of a lilliputian fairy.
Thee can doth aught.

Yon can crustheth and slipeth.
Through the cracks of timeth.
Thee can beest fell'r joyous.
Liketh the visage of a monst'r
I loveth thee f'r who is't thou art.

Thee can beest the wild animal with scars.
mine own canine ears ope to hark.
Thee can has't warts liketh a toad.
A belly as big as the univ'rse.
I shalt beest a fath'r.
thee can has't barb'd wire on thy corse.
My chivalrous armour does not mind thy pain.

Thee believeth chivalry is gone.
Somewh're on the planet, 'r in the heavens above.
Sickl'd by the grim reap'rs ploy.
The apparition 'r man you love.
I'm the pap'r thee loveth at which hour thy depress'd
The smileth thee misseth.
I am thy sir'r knave at heart.
I'm the knight thee wanteth me to best.
The lasteth sir standing at the edge of the w'rld with thee.
Thy the only ***** I protecteth, and loveth f'rev'r.
I give you can seeth how I loveth thee.

I've got fear and some anger
And hate in me

Help me
With the darkness within

Help me, Dr. Thomas
I too am Thomas the twin

I remember your kindness
It doesn't matter if I don't win

Just to do my best
In fath and love

And for the Discovery
To begin

                             Amen
