Envy lies naked on a rose --
Blindly, on bed;
Tonight, -- we bind to shed
Ourselves from purpose
And dread
That sough us from hearing, --
Fearing...
The silent touch of Moire.

It lies darkly on thy posture
Of many a figure
And requiem for my mockingbird, --
Those of many a love of my mockingbird,
(The Reaper
And my keeper
Of my very own
Requiem for a mockingbird)
Alone, all alone
We bind to shed...

Alas! Now Death
Comes as Nepenthe for my mockingbird,
(The only love
I've come to unravel the love
Of my mockingbird)
Now, breathing from her now, the breath
Of my heart leapt
Out from a mockingbird
And slept
As my eyes bind dead...

This is a requeim for a mockingbird, --
The Reaper
And my keeper
Of my very own
Requiem for a mockingbird,
Alone, all alone
We bind to shed
Ourselves from purpose and dread
That sough us from hearing, --
Fearing...
The silent touch of Moire...

For what event shall lead
And what event will follow
That the mockingbird song consist
Of only its own joy and wallows?

Mirrors around the mockingbird song
Shall it disappear for its false ownership?
Mirrors around the mockingbird song
Shall it grow louder in the ears of those who trained it?

If the mirror no longer had light or we no vision
Would it become of life? Grow a soul to show?
And if the mockingbird had no ears or we no sound
Would it learn its own voice? Gain an identity other than our own?

For what event shall lead
And what event will follow
That the mockingbird song consist
Of only its own joy and wallows?

Show him his blood born to imitate
Show him his colors false to himself

Mirrors around the mockingbird song
Deathly that it see itself
Will it disappear?
If existence is to plagiarize words
And existence was of one alone
Vanish- will existence?
Or become a spirit of its own?

(i)
To **** a mockingbird,
Is a sin,
Like holding a full bloomed rose by its neck and snapping it,
(ii) To **** a mockingbird,
Is a sin,
They have eyes that reflect like diamonds,
Churned with the rarest shade of indigo and the tiniest bit of white,
They have warm hands and dainty wrists,
Their bones are fragile,
Their knees bruise easily,
Hair sways like a golden storm,
(iii)The mockingbird,
Hums tunes they hear,
They don't fabricate any of their own,
They're an open book,
A page everyone knows will not hurt with its words, (iv) But we wait,
Wait for the worst to drown everything innocent we have,
Watch as the mockingbird is painfully murdered,
As we pick up their weight in tiny coffins on our chests,
Shamelessly,
And then quote again,
" it is a sin to **** a mockingbird "
