Disperse and drift
Hail the wind
And sail

Buoyant
The force of the sea
Mysterious

Unmoved
Take root
If you must
And
Be
Crests and troughs
Life a sinusoidal wave
It’s the matter that matters
On a particle wave
Energy ever changing forms
Matter of time and place
Dear God
Let the world see a better world
soon

Humanity shamed questioned
Rare horrendous inhuman acts
Towards the ones, one with nature
Survive solely on what nature provides
Do they have to ask for permission
Do humans ever ask,
before they encroach
Speaking of boundaries for others
Defending self, raising stronger fences
Brutality of humans, does it ever stop at suffering
Building castles on, close to water bodies
Endangering ecosystems
Cursing the storms, floods and every disaster nature brings on
Today I feel shallow for my hollow words
Cause I can’t digest the fact
That a mute unsuspecting animal
Had to ingest a fruit bomb
Killing her
A tragic, silent watery grave
And the one in her womb
Shocking
Humanity shamed questioned
Will they ever trust
Yes they will, unlike us
As they are one with nature, giving, forgiving
Trees stay rooted

Sway in gay abandon

Bracing for the storms

Giving what they can
Every thought
A puddle that clouds your mind
To roll in like a playful child
Sometimes long enough
You mull
To be shrouded by
Sooner or later you dust it off
And lay it down
To be puddled by new
Growths of green
Colour of a faded lime
Not long enough
A forest never enough
There is winters and summers
Seasons of all
There is always, spring
To fall upon
Worries
When you set them free
It sets you free
Happier

In a cage
The bird knows its resting spot
Free, it has many
On the tree

There is no better place
To allay your fears
Other than your own head
At rest
