there are words
that have been buried
under mountains of anxiety.

they make me sick
as i try to fight them,
hold them down,
keep them silent.

they're begging me
to uncover them,
to throw away fear
so they can breathe.

but i can't

i can't let them see the sun
its much too harsh for
how fragile they are

Pray for your enemies,
Hold their hands,
Because their reasons for hurting you,
May be hard to understand.

But acceptance and forgiveness,
Will light you up and make you whole,
As love is the only real power,
That can cleanse a human soul.

things just catch up with you
a step to the left here,
a few steps to the right there

She destroyed herself
Too many thoughts*
She fell apart
Too many little pieces
She fell in love
Too many little feelings
She discovered herself
Too many little stars
She believed
Too many little moments


And

              The
                     End


She was home
Too many little things
That reminded her
of  *herself

Shouting into nothing,
We tell strangers secrets
We'd never tell a friend.
Therapy isn't cheap.
We leave ourselves empty.
