We carry these heavy boulders
tending to forget to shrug our shoulders
Release the pressure of our endeavours
of daily drums we beat with rigor.
Pit stop before the brakes disintegrate
from the overbearing weight of worlds we create
and expect it all to stop when we wink at the stars.
Returning to rest, only a moment for our conscious cranium
then awake and get going, just as quickly as we killed the engine
only a few lonely hours before.

Stop bringing me into your fight!
Both of you are my friends and I love you equally.
I would get you to stop fighting but I can't.
So I'll remain neutral (like Switzerland)
and pray that you stop fighting so that I can
talk to both of you again without being accused of siding another party.

I can only describe you in one word;
Egotistical

The girl in the mirror looks lost.
She looks alone.
I see her in the mirror all the time.
What she does inhe mirror, no one knows.
She looks tired,
weary of life.
She looks so fragile.
She looks like a mess.
She gives me nightmares sometimes.
I can't forget her sunken eyes,
and the way every breath looked like it took all her energy.
She looked lonely.
Who is this girl?
Then, it hit me.
*what have I become?

You weren't ready to love me.
Lord knows I tried.
To make you feel,
To blow your mind,
To show you the moves to make.
You can't teach love with faltering steps,
Your wavering gaze moved me to tears.
You cut out my heart, piece by piece
and fed it to the wolves running wild.
You can't love before you feel,

What is a smile?
To others,
a smile is an expression of happiness,
of emotion.
To me,
a smile is an act.
A facade.
To hide my real feelings.
To hide the perpetual frown planted on this face of mine.
Maybe I fake a smile because I want it to remain frozen on my face,
forever.

Your trust and Friendship with me is more dear then anything that I have,
It is not your fault you are no ***** or *** but you are human,
And I don't blame you for that never will I blame you for that,
The solitude was not created be you alone there are others both near and far,
Family and friends of old and new,
I do not want to stress you, hurt you or anything like that,
All I want is to do to you what you do me,
To forget the pain and the things that burden us may that be for a momeant or a lifetime,
