There wasn't any sound
Save for the whispers
Of the moaning wind
Of the fluttering sea
Of the sizzling bonfire
And of two bodies entwined together

And there was nothing to set eyes upon
Except for the faint picture
Of a moon
Of a gazillion stars
Of a moonlit strand of seaside utopia
And of two bodies quietly robed

There was nothing I could breathe in
But the dancing aurora of scents
Of salty waters
Of a cool candelia
Of damp, smooth skin
And the deep essence of your neck

Nothing was moving in beat
Apart from the smooth, flawless, rhythm
Of the swaying leaves of the coconut trees
Of stars flickering and a summer night blazing
Of a thousand drumming fingers of crashing waves
And of two bodies careening intimately upon
a beat-up hamaca of weaved wisps

Just you and me on our line where Artemis and Neptune meet
We felt nothing else but the compelling desire to let our
bodies tell of our passion searing and torrid

And as we sank ourselves deep into blissful frenzy,
As we whispered each otherís name,
As our souls become one soul,

*We fall in love all over again.

Poetry is like gusts of fresh air
Harbinger of the soul’s catharsis
Flowing emotions through the pen
Concealed pain written across the pages
Healing the pain which was long buried

He was young and naive
And she was that way, too
They met one sunny day
And fell happy, deep in love so true

He wrote words for her
And they just smiled
The kind you'd likely see
Just from a birthday child

He thought she liked it
Or, maybe she did
But one day, she never showed it
All her love, she hid

She left him one rainy day
And drop by drop, he slowly cried
The million tears she gave to him
He could not, never hide

For she had another love now
And sadly, he had none
For nothing compared to this girl
His love, his only one

He was broken apart
And he could no longer write
He mended and he waited
And it all seemed alright

For he knew he was unwhole,
Unhappy, a broken half
And felt she was that way too
Through her talk, her smile and her laugh

He promised they'll meet again someday
And fall again, deep in love so true
Broken halves put together
And whole as one, no longer two

Your sweet-smelling hair
Satin-smooth and rain-damp
It's the tall, cold, moist wine glass
Cradling the repressed cocktail made up of
Hush-soft lips that melt in my mouth

The fluid tenderness of your tongue
Pillow-cheeks, gentle to clash against
When I'm teasingly nibbling on the cherry garnish
That is your ear, every curve, every dimple

Finished off with a neck
Like a tall tower of Irish cream
Buttery, rich, velvety and extremely intoxicating

Firewater, with a striking & a bitter kind of hangover:
A knowing smile for a secret shared,
And the throbbing pain of reality
When the fantasy finally fades away

You are beside me.
Silent and steady.
I am not alone.
I wish I can hold you, elusive.
With daylight, you are gone.
Moonlight on my bed.

Your body writhing.
Breathing, sparsely pinstriped with gasps and kisses.
Drawing curves already there, perpetual perfection.

Lustful passion, glazed with yearning, crowned with jealousy, jaded with affection.
A constellation of emotions, collapsing with just one whisper.

I'll never understand why I keep doing this.
I'll never see you in your dress for that wedding you're going to.
And a lot of other stuff I'll never see
Just because we can never be.

But what you will never see
Is how hollow I'm gonna be
When you're no longer around with me.
