My divorce
will be final
in 3 days,

I'm shocked!.!.

I never thought...
it would take
so long

to get a gun license
'apparently' there's a cooling off period *rolls eyes*
IDK
I don't know you
But you dance and you sing.

I don't know you
But you loved poetry.

I don't know you
But you weighed 43.

I don't know you
But size 4, that's your feet.

I don't know you
But your height, is it 5'?

I don't know you
But you were born on december 8.

I don't know you
But i think your waist is 28.

I don't know you
But you had secrets that I kept.

"I don't know you,
I really don't."

That's what I said,
you said you'd believed me though.

I don't know you,
But something tells me

You already know,
That i really do.
Many have tried expressing their feelings but ended up changing the topic.

What if they know your feelings but kept waiting for you to let them know. You should do something about it before you regret not doing it.

Got this advice on someone a while ago.
the slow smoke gloats and motes of atoms matter
dappled in the dingy blue of wintry twilight, frozen swollen
with white ash sunlight and long shadows, noodling in the canopies
of our vast wilderness. in the back room.

my rocking chair grinds an arc on a single point beneath me.
i teeter on the minuscule reminiscence, much -
as a wave teeters
on the moon's
whim.

i rejoice.

and deny.

i long for gone remedies, while pondering
what plagues my faith -
in the Mist...
what troubles the blight elan
of my ignorance.

and
at the door, i find you sleeping
on god's dime.

and i dream with
you.

~

I saw soft eyes on the promise fueled sunset
Coffee dark skies in a marmalade blush
Pastels now tinted of wayward decisions
Meadowlarks sing in a smooth whispered hush

Corn field desires drain simplistic notions
Run with me there down the row ever straight
Listen,  our hearts speak in feathered emotions
Love stands to prove it is never too late
Rattle Snake Bob came swaggering in
with a gun in his boots n' smell'n like gin
He had one green eye, and a wandering blue
make'n ya wonder which one was look'n at you
With burry vision, and a sloppy slur
the swanky restaurant went silent in a minute, or two --
cause he was standing bear *** naked wear'n just a single shoe
waving his gun up in the air --
with last nights Chili n' gum mixed in his hair
My- oh -my how everyone stared
everyone knew to hit the deck
when the bullets went fly'n and bouncing like heck
See --
Rattle Snake Bob had a twin named Rob
who'd gone to Princeton and was a total snob
he'd majored in golf n' minored in Law
with a penchant for ladies...
that were dating ...*Bob
