Dec 2014
I've got you
under
my skin
where
my dreams
go to
hide
in the
blotted darkness
of the
black holes
of the night.

I don't think you
notice
as I pass
through life
burning
my tongue,
inhaling
these words,
burning these coals
in the foothills
of my lungs
