Everything that is built comes down eventually
But how can you tell when something falls
If it is lost in the fog?

Does a tree sound when it falls
If there is no one around?

Yet I've already fallen
And you are standing,
Staring at the wreckage.
Still--
You never know how high I can reach:
I topple too easily.

Even if you build me up again,
I will collapse,
But this time I may remain alone.
Where are you now?

Gelid: cold; frozen
