She's gone away
In search for her space
Her mystery is eternal
The girl without a face

Her mother's a mess
Her father in a daze
They just couldn't love her
The girl without a face

In and out of homes
In and out of hope
Her things in a bag again
She's at the end of her rope

She's just a child
Fighting off her fears
Out in the cold
Hardened by her tears

She's finding her way
And looking for love
But falling in a pit
She prays to God above

Why couldn't they love her?
Why wasn't she enough?
When she was just a child
Why did life turn so tough?

The girl with no name
The lost child without a place
Has left a mark within my heart
The girl without a face.
