Color II
Blue skies,
Green grass,
Pink flowers,
Red roses.
White sheets,
Pale walls,
Cream lamps,
Oak boards.
Teal bands,
Purple earrings,
Orange dress,
Red bracelets.
Pink lips,
Olive skin,
Auburn hair,
Grey eyes.
There are so many colors,
but the one,
that matches my soul,
are all,
The Black paintings,
Of the world.
There might be more to love: the emptiness when one part of your family is gone, and only then do you realize you need them.
