We're all the same no matter what we are
We are close together and not very far
Each of us is unique, none of us is exactly alike
They are people just like us, so why do we strike
Doesn't matter what your color eyes or hair,
Race or religion we should all play fair
You are you and I am me
Different but great friends you see
Why do we hate others in the world
We are all one string attached just tightly curled
Can we get along together one day
Peace to peace and heart to heart that's all you gotta say
Its really very simple it ain't that very hard
It could be just as simple as a hopeful little card
Why can't we seem to get along? Why do we have to fight?
Why can't we be happy every day and night?
It is just that little question that I ask
How hard can it be to do a tiny little task?
We're all the same when we go to die,
We're all the same in that we must ask why
Hating someone else isn't far from hating a friend
Would you hate that person with you to the end?
How is it that it is so hard to love yet so easy to hate
Its no problem breaking up but hard to find a date
So you see we're really all the same at the end of time
Which reminds me its the end of this rhyme
