Gold was the sun
That cold Tuesday
Melting the ice
That laced the ashes
Of my incinerated heart.

Yet when you walked by
I felt the shadows of the flames
The flames that burnt me alive

And when you stood in the spotlights
When you stood in the eyes of an uncaring crowd
When they called your name
And you were greeted with baneful silence

When you stepped forward
My heart cried
I felt your pride
And my smile alone tore
Apart the sea of stone indifference

Yet you will never know the love
I still have for you
For you discarded me
And all that I am...
Just something about someone who didnt know that he threw me away,  the person who loved him the most...
