It was a cold winter day
Breathing in the icy cold air, letting out steam
The sun hid behind the shield of white above me
The light, steady wind gently nipped at my cheeks

Breathing in the icy cold air, letting out steam
I catch a snowflake on my fingertip
The light, steady wind gently nipped at my cheeks
The snowflake disappears leaving it's icy, liquid remains

I catch a snowflake on my fingertip
Before I could take in it's beauty, it is gone
The snowflake disappears leaving it's icy, liquid remains
I am alone.

The sun hid behind the shield of white above me
The sounds of children's laughter echoes in the distance
It was a cold winter day
And I was alone.
