Some days it's the rush of victory, feeling higher than the sun itself, and some days its the sigh and reluctant handshake of defeat. It never mattered the outcome; what mattered were the people, the place the energy of a bunch of nerds who love that same rush we all get from another hand, another card, another game.

I used to go to Yu-Gi-Oh tournies a lot as a kid all the way to as a young adult. The scene died down in my area, and most of the people I played with moved on. Emotionally, I haven't. I'd give anything to throw down like the old days :) I miss it, but man, the memories are something I'd trade for nothing.
