Cars pass by
Relentlessly
One goes, one comes
Taking turns.

Some might stay
Perhaps an hour
Maybe a couple of days
Some might be flawed
Broken parts
Troublesome
Time-consuming
But they work just fine.

Maybe a quick fix
So that it lasts a little longer
One more mile
One last drive.
