There was never no last round in my gun,
Taking my life nothing to me at all.
At first life was simple and all just fun,
Then come time fated my mortal downfall.
I have turned to a shadow of a shout,
There’s no going back way things was before.
Denial of reality to clout,
I fear not Death for me to be in store.
They say love is a sacrifice to learn,
Churning our way of life a struggle long.
Lost infatuation never to earn,
Leaving us lonely a distant saved song.
So where can I begin breathless my sin,
Death to pull back it’s hammer creepin’ in…
Finally A’ Free XV
