Chrystal Shard’s

When I was young, mother told me
My heart was fragile like Crystals
Beware of Cupids Arrows and
Annie Oakley’s shiny silver pistols

Each would prove to be deadly
If I was to cross in their path
She said to always treat women
With tender love to avoid their wrath

But don’t fall in love
Because Love is destined to fail
When that day arrives
You’ll feel the fires from Hell

As time slipped away momma’s voice
Became just an echo from the past
I heard so many stories about love
And forever it was supposed to last

So I had to learn the hard way with no
Caution to the wind or regards
My love I gave to you and now my heart
Is shattered into Crystal Shard’s
