The trees have a lovely moving charm Too often they did not expect any harm Then the sky sent down a desire that shivers From it's rhythmic and echoec rivers In gentle drops heading to the west I thought life found the spring or rest On its secret side by forbidden snows Their attack came with the wind blows In such holy raids through the shadows While the whole earth just paid it's vows As a lamp lowered to the green myrtles Through the trees and the winds whistles Oh my deceived desires!, fainted dreams All gone in oblivion along with sun beams With bright white dunes by sides in seams Then earth repudiate immortal tyrants Even the seasons travel like migrants They made to inspire love in the poet On each written verse in every sonnet Without responding to any torments To live in a sublime art full of contents
