Cause I don't wanna dream
And I don't wanna scream
I just wanna lock my mind out
From escaping to this film

They told me to think differently
That I'm the character that's main
But do they realize that the genre
Does not depend on this parade

Keep your back straight and head higher
But gravity is pulling me to deeper side
Stop being sad, put on a smile
It's like telling me to call my mom - my father

Take out the trash and your mind with it
You aren't worth the pain you're given
So what if rain stops falling on me
The oceans in my heart have flooded me already

Cause I don't wanna dream
And I don't wanna scream
I just wanna lock my mind out
From escaping to this film
