Opened eyes after a long sleep,
  And picturesque aurora facing me,
Idyllic feeling that's captured deep,
Is that what mindfulness meant to be?

Breath in and feel a chilly air,
Let petrichor flow through you soul,
May wind come dancing with your hair
while taking all your thoughts for stroll.

Closed eyes before deep sleep,
  The moonlight shining upon me,
In solitude I fall asleep,
I let my mind to be free.

The blinking lantern on the street,
A wooden bench and lonely tree,
And looping beat from distant feet
leaving the past on soggy scree.
