Behind your teeth,
an unsure smile?
You radiate a joy.
A joy inconceivable to some.
This joy, a joy desired by many.
Speak and pray tell,
the responsibility behind such happiness,
does it drain your soul?
Or fill it all the more.
I pray,
Should this excess become strenuous,
Lay down upon my shoulders.
Because I see you over there.
You're smiling,
and I like that.
