Nights like these
I wake up covered in sweat, despite the cold
Scared when I realise this is just a dream
Tears when I realise reality is just as bad
Dreaming I could pretend I still hear your voice

Nights like these
Even in my dreams it's never your face
Just your voice
Or your number on my phone
541 days since you held my hand
But I'll still close my eyes to catch a glimpse of you
Nights like these
They say time heals wounds. They lie.
