Youthful days spent upon a vacant beach
left all bare to feel the sun's infernal reach
as hearts and minds silently fell prey
to a shining behemoth's gorgeous rays
that sailed through our celestial horizon
only to free us from eternal life in oblivion.

Frolic, frolic, while we still have a sun.
Someday it may burn out, leaving us with none.
