If you were me,
Would you still be
Obsessed with the damage?
Am I to blame?
Maybe we’re the same;
Wanderers that can’t feel.

I hear you breathe.
You’re just out of reach.
Walk through me and I vanish.
Am I a fool?
Lingering beyond my time, waiting for a sign.
I cannot leave.

I’ll wait for you
To fall asleep.
Make it easier for us both.
You’re not alone, you’ll never be.
I’ll be here,
To share a dream.
To share your thoughts.
To share you.
Don’t say a prayer,
Just let me in….
I was really thinking from a ghost perspective of not wanting to leave a loved one
