When people lie
The first to go are the eyes
As there a window into the soul
They look away to stop you peering in

When you lie
Your eyes meet mine
And yet all i see is the black obsidian reflecting back
Beautiful, captivating, a black hole ******* me in

When people lie
Their hear beats spikes
From 120 beats per minute
To well over 200

When you lie
It's my heart beat that spikes not your's
As every word is music to my ears
That my my heart plays along, note for note

When people lie
They get nervous
They stutter, they fall
The minefield of a conversation, as each step could be its last

When you lie
You say so with confidence
Truth mixed with a lie, half truths, half lie
The line gets blurry, I can't help myself feel dizzy, and fall into yours arms for stability...
