have you ever heard it?

shallow,

rapid,

weak

have you ever felt it?

fleeting,

rattling,

in the chest

have you ever seen it?

nodding,

into the blankness

of the void

no

pulse,

so life-less, yet,

oddly,

peaceful
...Have you ever heard your Mother breathe her last breath?
