I used to look into your eyes and wonder how I ever felt home anywhere else.

But there's a part of me that isn't the same anymore.
It's the part that died when you left,
The part that you took, and crushed between your teeth,
Wiping the blood from the corner of your mouth as you whispered,
"I'll always love you."

And if you come back, I hope it's not because you love me,
Because I only want it to be a reminder of how good I am without you.

There's a part of me that isn't the same anymore,
Because she has never been touched by your hands,
She has never been hurt by your words,
She has never been loved by you.
There's a part of me that isn't the same since you left,
And I ******* love her.

I look into your eyes and wonder how I ever felt home there.
