Dec 2012
Years since you kissed my forehead.
                            slept in my bed.
                            pushed me against the wall.
All slowed to a crawl after just one night.
The night I said no; you took it a little too far.
My skin exposed, but my soul stayed closed.
My mind is a private safe, in which only one holds the key.
But, Darling, it's not you,
And, Dearest, it's not me.
