Melancholy
a half-way house
not a seething road-end
nor hopeless misery-

in-between the heart struggles
to be unencumbered and free
life is a tree with thorns too prickly
how desolate and forlorn is the journey!
* dedicated to Melancholy of Innocence, a fellow-writer.
