This is a ghost town we live in
Where every soul has tasted death.
Every eyes have shed tears of wry
And every joy slowly vanished and wrecked.
This is a strange town,
Where people regret for not being loved
Where every hello leads to a goodbye,
Yet every memory lives within their soul.
Why is this town so void, so hollow?
Filled with darkness, where every soul follows,
Why, dear child you're filled with sorrow?
Nevertheless you break in bones, lurking behind horror.
This is a town we all live in,
Where we shall taste sweet life
Either drown or survive the eternal pain.
I look outside of my balcony and I see this town and its people. And that gives me the feel, this could be a ghost town where we all survive. It's just a perspective of darkness. The bright side is a whole other story of course.
