When love is gone it brings such dread,
A dread that makes you wish you were dead,
You lie awake in bed filled with agony,
Knowing that both of your hearts were casualties,
You love each other, but don’t speak again,
And ask yourselves the question of when,
When will I forget the one I love?
And when will I be able to rise above?
Above this sadness that blackens my heart,
A heart which is now completely torn apart,
But alas you can never get past it,
So you lie in the dark with your heart split.
