"Genuine Smile"

Behind the smile of a broken child,
Fear and pain showering it's mind.
Groping on a rope and walking on ice,
It was time for her to say goodbye.

Perhaps her smile seemed nothing less.
A lifeless girl looking powerless.
A smile she showed before she left,
A genuine smile in her safe palms rest.

Asleep inside her valuable chest,
Promises bestowed upon her safe nest.
Slowly fading from the cruel world,
Memories of her became a blur.
This is my first poem posted in HePo and It’ll be lovely if you give comments about it. I’ll surely improve in the future as I write
