there was once upon a time
this little light of mine
in all its hope it hoped to find
it would shine so bright

but now with time solidified
this little light of mine
has lost the hope it hoped to find
to help it shine so bright

no longer believing all the tales
it sang in nursery rhymes
it went out over time
