And as the time goes, it goes.
Take me to the sparkling streets
away from my damp sleep.

But if I don't wake up
and if you find that I'm gone
don't worry about me.
You would be my last thoughts
and being with you was the quality and loveliness of life.

And if the world stopped spinning
And this night was all we had
don't you see?
Your face would be the last I saw
and with that a smile on mine.
Your presence was my joy, my joy.

Wake me up anytime.
I've tasted life so sweet
and it's out there
with you.
