Mar 2017
gentle streams of water
leave the melting snow
over sand and pebbles
higher land to low
tiny ripples sparkle
along the sidewalks slow
under warm sun beating down
gently, gently flow

little currents spread the sand
picking up debris
tiny specks and particles
headed towards the sea
pushing forward, pulled along
water running free
gentle water makes its way
moving on like me
