Woman
My heart could have no better muse
Nor harbor any happier hope to pursue
So solid flames burn
So embers start to turn
To diamond skin
Auburn and porcelain
Strength and purity
Essence of humanity
A smile a look
The pales character from every book
Hands that dance
Across keyboards and
Can carry anything
That makes my spirit sing
With love and harmony
From a distant or up close
Wearing rags or designer cloth
Mostly flashy fashion
Leaves me gasping
She is the summation of my admiration
A collection and convergence of perfection
Though that word is limited by my perspective
She stands so far out from the collective
That I cannot help but fall in line
Behind this human dream of mine
She is woman full and flowering
Still growing still becoming
And what she will be
Is more than a mystery
The potential I see
In her eyes anything is possible
To me she is unstoppable
Almost too good to be true
Woman, my heart sings to you
