The galaxies above show no sympathy
for our own demise

Do not care of our puny human desires

For they choose not to fall
when we are in need of a wish

Motionless, taunting, uncaring

They shine when the world ends
crying, dying

God told them it wasn't their job to care
Only to watch

See the pain, observe
But do not dare to touch

What a hard life the stars must have
