bleeding (or not)
I'm bleeding,
can't you tell?
I have iron overshadowing my scent
and gore coating my skin.
I'm bleeding,
can't you tell?
it's pooling at my feet,
and dripping down my stomach.
I'm bleeding,
can't you tell?
it's spurts from my heart
and begins to film at my ribcage.
I'm bleeding,
can't you tell?
the blood from my veins is seeping through my pours,
and streaming from my tear ducts.
I'm bleeding,
can't you tell?
I'm wounded,
I'm hurt,
I'm so broken and damaged and--
I'm bleeding--
wait.
no, I'm not.
I'm slowly healing, and the wound is scabbing over.
I'm gonna be okay.
