Poems
Oct 2016
I'm lost, I think. Losing myself to dreams.
I wish I could hold you.
I wish I could touch you.
But the distance is too far,
The distance is too wide--
For now.
And my eyelids
Are heavy.
I want to drift off
Into some type of
Week long sleep.
I miss you
More than I think you can understand.
And sometimes I wonder,
Did I ever love anyone before you?
Because I don't really think I did.
I don't think I ever did.
And if I did,
It wasn't quite the same
As this.
Love is a funny thing.
It's always the same,
And it's always different.
But I know how I love you.
I know it's the type of love
That will take a lifetime to get over,
And I know it's the type of love
That lasts forever.
I wanna sleep. DX
