The moments when I miss you
feel so cold
Who am I missing?

I never knew who you were
but I swear there were moments I did
I can still feel them
the pinch in my stomach from our hard laughs
the small tears that would fill our eyes when we'd say
you're the one
your breath against my neck
when you'd pull me close

Then the ball forms in my throat
because I don't know if those moments were real, baby
*only you do
