No one has looked at a tree
Quite like thee
The leaves are beginning to turn brown
However, do not frown

The brown leaves often turn to gold
A change in color as they grow old
Waiting for winter when they fall
Not one not two, but all

The tree stretches it's wide arms
Towards the sky like palms
How can we compare
The winter woodland tree so bare
