I hold down the
sharp edges once again
to allow you a second chance.
they carve their way down,
you don’t care at all
my pain has always been irrelevant.
after all, as you said,
it’s just my medicine.

we could still be
what we wanted to be
after all we’ve been through
I would still let you in.

you are my medicine.
